Absolutly awesome
I was skeptical about this product. My son is 1 but the size of a 3 year old 33 lbs I was afraid he was going to be too big. I attached to my beachcruiser and it works awesome. People see me at beach and i always hear aww how cool or thats cute!! Steering is no problem and he seems to love it. I just need to get him a bigger helmet his head is big and the 3 year old helmet seems to be to small. I feel totally safe and secure with him on weeride. Awesome invention I'm so glad I finally got one it is so much fun. 2010-07-13

Don't own item yet, but check out the promo image...
I'm researching which bike seat to get for my son, and this one seems very appealing. Only problem is, the promo image of the mom on the red bike with the baby in the seat is clearly photoshopped. Her back leg appears to be in front of the red top bar, and the baby in the seat has clearly been added to the picture. Not very helpful when wondering how the seat fits on your own bike, and not a good sign as to the reliability of the product and the company! Just thought everyone should know! 2010-07-13

Great fun, only buy for a child age 1-2 1/2 years old
I bought the weeride for my daughter when she turned one. We have loved having it, she absolutely loves riding in front and we get many comments everytime we ride about how great it is and how happy she looks. I am 5'8 and only slightly have to adjust my legs to peddle, but I've heard it's more difficult for shorter people. It's really lightweight. I love being able to take the seat off with just one attachment, I can stow it in the trunk of the car while I load the bike on my rack very easily. I also love being able to check on her and talk to her while we ride together, it's much more like we're on a ride together, looking at the world rather than having to turn my head and yell to a back seat. She just turned three and I question at this age the safety of the seat. I felt much better about it when she was smaller, the seat definitely feels geared towards a smaller baby-toddler. The seat belts also are very flimsy and only hold together in the back by a piece of fabric that slides up and down on it's own, often sliding down and falling off of one shoulder. I usually have to adjust it quite a bit while we ride. We only ride on bike trails and not in traffic, so I feel ok about it because I do not have that many unpredictable situations. I am looking for a new seat now for my daughter because I am feeling unsafe about riding with her at 3 years old and 32 lbs. The seat removes from the frame so easily and just has one screw on bolt that takes about 10 rotations to make the seat come off.. it flexes quite a bit side to side and I always feel like the bolt or seat could break loose under her weight. I only recommend this from 1-maybe 2 1/2 years old. (at that age it is great) The foot rest is also not able to be adjusted, it's a little box. She wears a size 8 shoe and is reaching the end, which means we're done. I think the up to 4 year old rating is not accurate. I recommend it highly for a young child, not so much past 2.5 (also, don't count on your child being able to sleep in it, the pad in front has held my child's head, but then you really have to hold onto them to keep them from falling off sideways and disturbing your balance.. very awkward.)hope this helps 2010-07-10

Much better than rear mount! But doesn't fit certain bikes!
My husband LOVES this seat! Our son would ask to go on bike rides in this seat. He's too big for it now at 3 years old. I think it's only for ages 1-2 or a very small 3 year old. We both have mountain bikes which don't allow enough room to attach the bar under the handlebar. My lady's bike was too short between the handles and the seat to even place it on my bike at all. We had to do a hardware store trip and modify it to fit my husband's bike-- prob not the safest thing and surely wouldn't be covered under any kind of warranty! BUT we were confident with the fit we made and it didn't budge through out months and months of happy riding!
Highly recommended! More parent/child interaction= more fun! But prob best fitted for "cruise" style bikes ONLY!

WeeRide Kangaroo Child Bike Seat
A good Child bicycle seat, but the screws to lock on the bicycle frame is too short. I have to go bicycle shop to find longer screws to attach on the frame. Other than that it a good cost and performance buying!! 2010-07-01
