Mongoose BMX Bike Gel Knee and Elbow Pads

This was a great purchase. My 9 year old son just got his first BMX type bike and kept falling. These pads fit nice and tight, but have plenty of room to adjust and grow with him. The gel padding has protected him through many more falls. Great price too!

My son is 5 and they don't fit perfectly but they do the job and he'll grow into them, even my husband could use them if he wanted too, but he's not a big man tough. Good buy.

These pads can take on a 9 year old boy any day- now getting him to wear them regularly- that's another story.

I bought my 9 and 11 year old each a set of these primarily for skateboarding. They're a great value and made very well. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Based on the previous reviews, I purchased this set of pads for my 9 year old son to use with his new scooter. I am happy overall with my purchase and feel that it is a great price and quality product. I did ask my son for his thoughts and he said to rate 4 stars instead of 5. When I asked why, he says that both the elbow and knee pads slide a bit and need to be readjusted frequently. I'm hoping after another growth spurt, this won't be a problem. Otherwise, he is happy with these pads and likes the added comfort from the gel.
