Cateye is the bomb!!
Many reviews showing the benefits and features of this item. Mine is simple....

Simple unit to install and use. Accurate and reliable. I'm buying another one for my mountain bike.

Suggested, Purchased, Pleased
Very pleased, Basic cylometer funtions, easy setup and just works. Three lines of info would be nice, but very easy to change screens.

Bought 2 And Both Were Defective
After reading all of the glowing reviews for this product and it being a good price, I decided to buy one. This is the 3rd time I've bought a speedometer/odometer for a bike and the first 2 I had no troubles with and they are still around to this day (3 years old - $10 Bell wired units). The Cateye worked fine and I installed it perfectly according to all instructions. It worked until I hit 27 km/h then the sensor wouldn't pick up a reading anymore until I was above 32 km/h at which point it would work again. I called customer service and they said it was a faulty sensor and they would send one out to me free of charge, which they did in quick time. I attached the new sensor and the same problem happened again, this time between 29 km/h and 34 km/h. So I thought it was the computer and not the sensor that was defective so I returned the first unit and got a second. Same problem again between 27 and 33 km/h this time! I have since returned the second unit and will get a full refund and look into getting something reliable.

Works
I was skeptical on wireless technology to register every spin of the tire. So far so good. Installed this on a mountain bike and even through rough singletracks the magnet doesn't spin out of place and the computer registers.
